Folly on the move at 6 Months

My Dandy's beautiful daughter, born on Guernsey, is out of Gwen Davies's Lesnuages Rosina, (who was sired by Foxbarton Ace Of Diamonds JW). From the moment I saw a photo of the newborn litter, she caught my eye, and straight away I asked Gwen not to let her go! ☺

Folly flew up here in her private plane, travelling like a veteran, and she stole my heart. I called her Folly, as it's pure folly to show Sable Border Collies, most judges being stuck on Black & Whites, but I adore them! ☺ However, she qualified for Crufts the moment she stepped into the ring, at 6 Mths 10 Days, at Scottish KC Champ Show, under judge Sue Ader - thank you, Sue. ☺ She qualified again, both at Southern Counties and Three Counties Championship Shows, the two weekends following.

She had began Ringcraft training as soon as she was vaccinated, and I only had the chance to take her to one practice Companion Dog Show at 6Mths 3Days, where she got Res Best Puppy In Show, before driving up to Scotland the following weekend.

Folly skipped the Beginners Companion Dog Training at Cobham DTC, but started at 5 Mths, going straight into Intermediate. Just 7 Mths old, at the end of term, she did a beautiful test for me and came 1st, with Grade A. ☺

Like all the Foxbartons, she's a very quick study, and a joy to work. She got her Bronze KC Good Citizen Award at 4.5 Mths, and the Silver Award at 7 Mths. ☺ The examiner said she was already Gold standard, but new KC rules mean that now she has to wait another five months to do it!
